Building On Our Vision: 2024-2027 Strategic Plan Highlights
Throughout the recent fiscal year, we’ve made meaningful strides toward the ambitious goals outlined in our Strategic Plan. Here’s what we’ve accomplished together:
Enhancing Client and Family-Centered Care
We invested in key facility upgrades, including improvements to the Wesburn Adult Day Program kitchenette and the South Adult Day Program site. We also launched a three-year Ontario Trillium Foundation-funded expansion of our exercise and fitness program, continued bringing palliative care into clients’ homes through community partnerships, and introduced a pilot outing program for caregivers featuring arts, cultural, and historical experiences.
Preparing for Change
We explored the opportunities and risks of AI and other digital tools, increased our involvement in Ontario Health Team initiatives, and built new partnerships to better connect with diverse communities.
Investing in Our People
We celebrated staff and volunteers through our first Appreciation Event, enhanced benefits for contract employees, strengthened leadership development efforts, improved volunteer recruitment and onboarding, and gathered valuable feedback to support our Strategic Plan goals.
Increasing Our Effectiveness
We acted on feedback from clients and staff to improve programs and services, expanded the use of digital tools, and continued transitioning client records from paper-based systems to electronic records.
