Program Description

Our Adult Day Service (ADS) program provides support to adults and seniors who have a cognitive impairment, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, and are physically frail. This program allows caregivers to receive some respite during the day to rest, recharge and complete everyday tasks.

We provide a supportive environment with social, therapeutic and recreational activities, along with gentle physical and mental exercises to stimulate and engage the individuals attending our program. Nutritional, well-balanced prepared meals are provided during the day including a morning and afternoon snack and full lunch. Click here for a sample lunch menu.

Transportation may also be available upon request for an additional fee (based on availability).

Health and Safety protocols and measures are in place including daily screening, surface sanitization, hand hygiene stations, masking and physical distancing. Staff are trained on the proper handling and appropriate usage of PPE during service delivery. Please contact ESS at 416-243-0127 for current program information.

Referral and eligibility assessment required by the Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Home & Community Care. ESS Case Managers can work with the Central LHIN to assist with this referral.
