Program Description

Our Overnight Respite program offers short-term overnight care and accommodation for older adults who have a memory-related impairment, chronic illness, or disability. The program provides short-term respite for caregivers, giving them an opportunity for rest and self-care. We accept clients throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

We provide caring and professional support with activities of daily living from trained Personal Support Workers in a safe and comfortable environment.

Our program locations offer shared dining and living spaces, accessible washrooms, and private bedrooms. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided, along with social and recreational activities.

Clients and their caregivers are expected to passively screen themselves prior to receiving services or attending programs and to immediately report the presence of symptoms or risks.

While we promote a “mask-friendly” environment, the use of masks is strongly encouraged during the provision of care and while in program spaces and vehicles if tolerated.
