Exceptional Service Awards

In April, Borys Wrzesnewskyj M.P Etobicoke-Centre, made a call-out for nominations towards the Exceptional Service Awards.  These awards recognize individuals in the Etobicoke-Centre who have made a difference, in our local community, across Canada, or internationally.

We are happy to announce that Sachi, a very long-standing volunteer at ESS, was the recipient of the Exceptional Length of Service Award in recognition of her 30 years of volunteer service with ESS. Yes; 30 years!  Sachi has been an active volunteer for ESS since 1987.  Over the last 30 years, she has supported our Adult Day Program and has helped us raise critical dollars by wrapping gifts in of our Gift Wrap Fundraiser from year-to-year.

Sachi’s long-term dedication is truly special.  It’s rare to come across a volunteer who has dedicated 30 years of their time continuously to a single organization.  We are so grateful to have passionate and committed individuals such as Sachi on our Volunteer Team.  Our volunteers fuel our mission.  With their help we are able to do so much more and serve more people than we would without them.

ESS would like to congratulate Sachi on her award and thank her for her dedication to ESS and its mission.
