We are happy to share that in the spring, ESS received the great news that is was selected to receive an $11,550 donation from 100 Women Who Care Toronto West.
100 Women Who Care Toronto West is a group of passionate women committed to supporting their local community. They meet every 3 months to raise funds for an organization dedicated to positive local action.
Our CEO joined the group’s first meeting since the summer break to share how their generous donation has helped ESS. We have allocated the funds towards the following:
- Our new Centre which includes supporting:
- The development and opening of our new onsite Adult Day Services program;
- Health and safety measures and equipment put in place at the Centre to help protect clients, staff, volunteers and caregivers.
- Supporting our food security programs including our Mobile Food Bank and weekly Grocery Delivery Program, meal and food hamper deliveries.
Many, many thanks to Teresa, ESS volunteer and 100 Women Who Care Toronto West member, for nominating and pitching ESS to your membership.
