Congratulations to our Case Management staff for successfully completing their annual interRAI CHA exams with flying colours.

The interRAI CHA is a comprehensive and standardized assessment widely utilized in the Community Support Services sector to identify the needs and risks of older adults.  All ESS Case Managers undertake a comprehensive four-day training to gain proficiency in using the interRAI CHA assessment tool. The information collected through the assessment helps our Case Managers better understand our clients’ health and social status. It also informs individualized care and service planning to support our clients in living as independently as possible in their own home and community.

Once a year, they take an exam which measures their skill and accuracy in completing assessments.  This year our Case Managers took two tests and scored an average of 94% on the first one, and 100% on the second!  The high scores our Case Managers achieved are important in providing our clients with safe and high quality care.  They are a testament to your hard work, care, and dedication to putting our clients first.
