#GivingTuesday is a 24-hour world’s largest generosity movement for giving and volunteering, taking place each year after Black Friday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, organizations and individuals join and rally for favourite causes (GivingTuesday|About).

• #GivingTuesday goes live at 12:00AM EST on November 28 and ends at 12:00AM EST November 29.

Our transportation services allow seniors and adults with disabilities to go to medical appointments, community programs, grocery shopping, and social-recreational activities, reducing their isolation and hospital emergency visits.

Your donation dollars are hard at work to ensure that this vital and affordable transportation service continues:

• $100 will provide 13 seniors with transportation to the local grocery store.
• $75 will provide 10 seniors with transportation to our Seniors Lunch Program.
• $50 will help a senior get to 1 specialist appointment at a downtown hospital.
• $25 will enable a senior to travel with ESS Transportation for 3 days to our Adult Day Program

If someone wishes to donate using another method, they can contact ESS at 416-243-0127. 

Tax receipts will be issued by Canada Helps. After donating, you will receive an immediate email confirmation of your donation, along with a tax receipt. Hard copy tax receipts will be mailed to you before the end of February 2023.
