🤩This grant enables us to add two full-time Health and wellness coordination staff and one part-time exercise instructor. ESS will enhance its Health and Wellness programs by reducing waitlists, implementing active-living care plans, and upgrading fitness equipment. The grant is in relation to our work in strategic priority to Prepare for Change by striving for financial sustainability through adaptation and resource generation.
😊We hope to empower seniors in our community to build and maintain active, healthy lifestyles through accessible, personalized, and engaging health & wellness programming.
With this grant, we aim to bring:
Faster Access, Better Care. Our new Wellness Coordinator will streamline admissions by maintaining real-time enrollment data, dramatically reducing wait times. And getting clients into programs when ready to start their wellness journey.
Personalized Wellness Plans Working alongside our Client Care Specialist, we’ll create tailored fitness plans for every client, assessing current abilities, setting meaningful goals, and identifying opportunities to boost overall health and activity levels.
Reliable Programming:Â Both new positions will provide instructor backup support, virtually eliminating class cancellations and ensuring consistent programming our clients can count on.
Expanded Options: A part-time exercise instructor will offer more class times and locations, giving clients the flexibility they want while supporting faster program admission.
Fresh Equipment & Programming Updated fitness balls and resistance bands will replace worn equipment, while new specialized workshops will keep programming exciting and motivate regular attendance.
This project ensures we are dedicated to one of our key strategic priorities—Enhancing Client and Family-Centered Care. This priority involves enhancing and expanding our programs, focusing on improving outcomes for clients and families.
