Coping strategies for caregivers of adults with disabilities.

Join us for a free educational virtual workshop with Vera Cheng, MSW, RSW. In this workshop, Vera will focus on Caregiver Burnout: What does it mean for you? Topics covered:

  • the stressors of burnout
  • coping strategies, factors interfering with caregivers accomplishing these strategies and how to break through the barriers
  • brainstorming any new ideas for coping strategies

Vera Cheng (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, Consultant, Media Expert and founder of Talk Therapy with Vera.  Vera has over 15 years of clinical experience working in community and medical settings with a diverse population ranging from teens to seniors.  She collaborates and empathizes with individuals to help bolster their self-awareness to make positive and goal-directed changes in their life.  It enables them to feel empowered, recognizes their strengths, and establishes a greater sense of self-compassion.
