Do you know that falls are the leading cause of injury-related hospitalizations among Canadian older adults?
20-30% of older adults fall each year. Falls are also the leading cause for hospital admissions from injuries for children ages 0 to 14.
All Canadians have a role to play in preventing falls!
On November 30th, join Julie Williams, Registered Kinesiologist and ESS Seniors’ Fitness Instructor, in a trivia activity about falls. Have fun and learn how to protect yourself from many common fall risks.
This is a free event. No registration required. Takes place over Zoom or the phone.

From May 12th to 16th (anticipated), the main entrance will be closed due to work related to the accessibility project (installing ramps and other related work). The front door entrance and the surrounding area will be inaccessible. Expect a few parking spaces closest to this work area to be inaccessible. Thank you for being so patient as we improve the accessibility of our building.
During this time, access to the building will be available through the side door of the Rosemount building.
